Strategic Alignment of Marketing, Ops, and Finance

You’re onto something good. You love waking up for work every single day. You can see $5 million or even $10+ million revenue in your future, and maybe an exit. But there’s so much to do that it’s going to take years of sustained effort, and you just hope the opportunity holds out, and you get there before you burn out.

That’s where I come in. I’m a hands-on operations pro, here to support ecommerce founders and leadership who know their company could and should scale faster.

Founder Story

jeff ritger

I’m Jeff Ritger. I help ecommerce brand owners break through operational bottlenecks and scale faster, by moving strategic high-value projects out of backlog and across the finish line quickly, while also offering a fresh perspective on their cash flow and capital strategy.

I’ve been committed to building ecommerce brands since I bootstrapped my first few companies in 2013-2015. Alone and for clients, I’ve worked in clothing, supplements, medical, furniture, food, and industrial niches. I’m a true omnichannel proponent: I’ve launched high SKU-count brands on Shopify, Amazon, Ebay, and Etsy all at once, multiple times, and added retail and wholesale channels after traction. I’ve often gotten deeply involved with my manufacturers’ operations and spent years at a time teaching my suppliers’ factory or artisan staff how to make, package, label, and organize my companies’ products for immediate distribution upon landing in USA. And I’ve worked with over a dozen 3PLs in five US states.

Today I provide fractional executive services to DTC, Amazon, and omnichannel brands. My work enables more rapid growth for early stage ecommerce companies that are seeing traction, and growing as fast as their founding teams can handle. I add extra bandwidth, deep experience, and grit, so the companies can catch up to their growth potential, and move as fast as the products and market will allow. I get hands-on with inventory, shipping, project management, supplier negotiations, new market launches, cost structure overhauls, 3PL transitions, marketing, and much more.

Prior to my dedication to ecommerce entrepreneurship and consulting, I worked in the Silicon Valley startup arena, including as a venture capital associate, and in business development in the energy sector. I have a philosophy degree from University of Puget Sound and an engineering degree from Columbia University. I speak native English and fluent Spanish.
