Health Supplements and Medical Devices on Shopify and Amazon
I started small for this client, which is a DTC brand owned by a holding company that has a portfolio of online businesses. They wanted me to quickly overhaul an Amazon store. The results were good, so they asked me to redesign their Shopify store and improve their copy in Klaviyo too. Then they wanted me to find a new machinery supplier in China, so I looked into the options for that, and I standardized a complicated purchase and import process for a device from Japan too. Next I set them up with a new packaging partner for a US product, as well as a new domestic freight partner and a new 3PL in California. Next I overhauled their customer service and returns procedures. And during all of this I worked with 2 marketing agencies and Hyros to get their attribution metrics dialed in.
Finally the holding company leadership asked me to be CEO of this brand so I'd have P&L responsibility. But it wasn’t the right time for me to accept, because I was just formalizing my consulting practice and getting some new things of my own off the ground.
